Product: HP slate 21
Operating System: Android 4.4 - 4.4.4 KitKat
I can not access or retrieve from any external storage. I have external HD connected with USB and a SD card inserted but neither one shows up in file manager. In settings I have mounted the external HD but still not showing up in file manager. Slate has been pretty useless because of this.

What is the model/product of your HP Slate 21 ? Does it has SD card slot ? Do you ue OTG cable ?

In settings under Model number it says Slate 21
Theres a build number as well
I am using the same cable that I use to connect my external HD to pc
Slate does have a SD card slot as well
Running android 4.4.2

On the back the registered model is HSTND-3841-F

Also the media player stops working when I try to view photos
