Hi so i just brought the slate 21 today for family board games and fun stuff really, my concern is i now can see a pro version is out in march. There only seems to be a ram upgrade and storage so my question is if i use a 1tb harddrive for storage can i upgrade the ram in slate 21 as it takes a 1gg ddr ram also cani replace the harddrive internally too??

Hi,
RAM and eMMC (internal storage) in the Slate 21 is not upgradable.
As you said, for your files you can use attached storage (FAT or NTFS formatted), but your other concerns can't be addressed with add on components.

Hi,
As you've noticed, new models/products are coming. Before we can help, we need to know EXACTLY the model/product of your machine, you can find it in the invoice/receipt or from a label at the back.
Regards.

Hi,
No one can tell when don't know exactly what is the product. For the folloiwng machine for example (product 21-k100) the change to upgrade is very slim:
