I was streaming youtube videos and aending that to miracast and it was cutting out and disconnecting (limited connectivity issue) this also effected miracast.
What you do is the following
-go into network and sharing center
-adapter settings
-select the realtek wifi right click then properties
-click configure
-click advanced
-select wireless mode, change from b/g/n to b/g
-press ok and apply.
-restart if needed verify changes are still applied.
Havent ran into the problem after 30 hours solid of miracast streaming youtube off wifi
Its working, all the other solutions didnt solve it like this, its rock solid now.

I downloaded the one of MS Update, but it could also be the one off HP's website.
All I know is for over two days now its rock solid with my asus rt-n66u router with a/b/g/n
g is setup on channel 11 with 20mhz band to match the stream 7.
When i did the fix above that I gave, i also did a 'troubleshoot' click on the limited activity icon a few times before attempting it.

I've been having connectivity problems as others in this thread. Here are the symptoms:
- DD-WRT Router
- Wifi Works Great while plugged in
- Have problems when on battery power
- ping my router and don't drop packets but every 10 pings or so the latency goes up to ~100-150ms, but only when on battery
I tried the Dell driver but had no luck. I then found this page for a different Tablet with the same network card having very similar issues:
http://bhtooefr.org/blog/2014/12/27/winbook-tw700-first-impressions-survival-guide/
It seems there are settings for the WiFi power management that the driver reads. They are just not visible in the GUI but can be modified in the registry. The TL;DR is:
- Run Regedit.exe
- Search for the key "bLeisurePs"
- Change Value from 2 to 0 and reboot
This put my max ping from 150ms to 20ms on battery power. Time will tell, but I believe this will solve the problem (but at the cost of some battery life). It is a tradeoff I can live with.
I hope this helps someone.
