D_A_H,

Could you post the version and date of the driver for your network adapter (REALTEK)?  Thanks.

I ran the HP Support Assistant, but it did not update any of my drivers.

but if we turn off bluetooth, we won't have a fix for the buzzing headphone issue... Snark directed to the hp phone tech who actually gave me the solution of solving the headphone buzz is to use bluetooth headphones. I said that the only way that was acceptable is if they gave me bluetooth headphones.

Yup, same driver.

Have you tried the advanced settings. Just a thought, but interesting that WiFi Configure is set to Performance. You could try setting it to WiFi. Have not looked into what Antenna Diversity would change.

Ricky,

I have the same settings for my network adapter that you posted.

I just switched the WIFI Configure under advanced settings from Performance to Wifi.  After that, bluetooth stopped working.  Looks like I'm going to call about returning the tablet.

I would. Mine seems rock steady, and I have tested it to the extremes of the WiFi range. All still on default settings.

hey so i found a newer driver (3007.9.1015.2014) on a korean site, and currently testing it out.  link to driver to below, you need 7zip to extract. Also blah blah, do not install software that could potentially harm your computer blah blah, antivirus, blah blah, blah blah blah, HP cannot be held liable, blah blah blah. Proceed at your own risk.

Oh and if you can read Korean, here's the original page where I found driver. It's under other devices with the same model number as our wifi chipset. http://mvapple.tistory.com/m/post/117

Ricky,

Keep me posted on if the driver helps or works any better that the current one.  I'm doing an exchange on my tablet but if the new one also has problems and this driver fixes it, I'll update to it.  Thanks!
