Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

1) May I have the exact model name of the computer? Click here for steps on finding the information we need. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
2) What's the operating system installed on the computer? 

 

While you respond to that, I'd suggest you refer to this document for troubleshooting steps. Computer troubleshooting > Wireless network issue

 

You may also refer to the guided troubleshooter.
