Hi, I recently bought the HP prime for one of my modules at university. We need it to calculate the Colebrook - White and Darcy Weisbach equation ( V = -2 * sqrt(2*g*D*Sf) * log(ks/3.7D + 2.51v/D*sqrt(2*g*D*Sf)) using iterations for the Sf value. Would I need to program the equation into the calculator so that it's always readily avaliable or do I need to type it in manually each time into the solve function.

Hi!, @KerryVS:
Your solution is create one program, for solve. Can use, LOCAL, RETURN, etc ...

You can use App ... Solve and change the letters of variables by other's admited, as ...
The result, is with random values, of variables. With the variables writed, you needed, press Solve.

I'd take a look at the "Solve" App that lets you store lots of eqations. Also, the solve app chapter in the manual or in the built in help. you have 300 pages of contextual help in the calc. 🙂
Although I work for the HP calculator group as a head developer of the HP Prime, the views and opinions I post here are my own.
