Each time I print using the plug in my settings choices (fit to page, resolutionm etc) change. Can these be set perminently? If so, where is this set?
App version is: 4.8.1-3.1.3-16-18.3.80-773

A warm welcome to the Hp support forums. A good day to you. Great description of the issue. Kudos to you for that. I am happy to assist you here.
- Did this happen after a recent software or OS update?
- Did you uninstall and reinstall the latest version of HP print service plugin and check again?
- DId you try Hp app?
For now, try these steps:
- Run all the latest updates on your Android phone and ensure that Android 8.1 Oreo is completely up to date.
- Then uninstall HP print service plugin and reinstall it again from the Google play store
- Follow all the relevant steps from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04024231.(HP Printers - Printing from Android Smartphones or Tablets)
- This link gives you all relevant information with vital FAQs that should answer all your questions.
- This should resolve the issue for you.
If the issue persists, then from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03561640 (HP Printers - Using the HP App (Android, Apple iOS) download, install and use HP app with very relevant FAQs.
