Maybe I am missing something.  When I am in most applications, such as adding a contact or browsing the App Catalog, once I make a selection to get more information about an app or finish entering contact information I can't get back to the previous menu.  I am forced to close the contact or program and reopen my contact list or App Catalog.  Any ideas of a quicker way?

Use the back gesture. The black plastic under the screen and above the center button is the gesture area. Simply swipe backwards (right to left) to move back one page in an application.

A half swipe from the center button to the left side of the phone or from the right side of the phone to the center button should suffice.
