HP 7 Plus
Android 4.4 - 4.4.4 KitKat

Hi,

I have a HP 7 Plus tablet which is running Android 4.4

I have tried to connect it to my new Router. It connects fine and then after 30 seconds it disconnects showing "Disabled." This is repeated each time I try to connect it to the WiFi. WiFi is fine as every other item, device etc connects fine. The Cache has been flushed and the WiFi connection forgotten and re-connected. The only thing I can think of disrupting it is the HP DataPass has expired. Is this locking the device or is the device just locked and now scrap ?

best regards,

Welcome to HP Support Community

Was the Tablet connecting to your old Router? Did this issue start with the New Router?

I suggest you try changing the Channel Settings on the Router to 6 or 11 and check. You might have to contact your Router Manufacturer or ISP for help in changing the Router Settings

You can also try to reset your Android Tablet and then try connecting. Please refer to this Link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04052020

Keep me posted how it goes 😊
