Create an account on the HP Community to personalize your profile and ask a question

Ran CCleaner. Now every time I save a file "you must have administrator permission. Went into my user account to change to standard permission but it is grayed out. Any help would be appreciated.

I understand that you are getting You must have administrator permission message while saving the file.
Please perform the below steps and check.

In Windows, search for and open Control Panel.

Click User Accounts and Family Safety.

In the User Accounts and Family Safety window, click User Accounts.
The User Accounts window opens.

Click Change User Account Control settings.

Move the slider up or down to set the User Account Control settings.
To turn off User Account Control, move the slider to the bottom (Never notify).

Click OK.
User Account Control now notifies you about changes to your computer according to your personalized notification setting.
Try creating a new user account on your computer.
Go to http://hp.care/2dWJKgW and follow the steps to create a new user account.
