50g
  • alarm doesn't wake calculator and beep when alarm beep is turned on and alarm set
  • red-arrow then TIME brings up different menu than red-arrow+TIME when stack cleared.

am using latest firmware that I know of.

Alarms are a problem on the 49G+/50G due to emulation of the old Saturn processor on the new ARM processor.

Unfortunately, no. The final firmware update was in April 2009 (version 2.15), and at that time the cause of this bug was still unknown. So there is no firware update that fixes the bug. Nor is there a software fix. Sorry.
