Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums. I came across your post and would like to assist.
I understand that you have an HP Stream 7 series laptop and need to disable the BitLocker feature on it. I read you're using Win10.
Please let me know the exact laptop model no. This link will help you to find the model no: http://hp.care/2bygf7l
If the laptop able to boot into Windows successfully?
Meanwhile, I did some research on this case and came across a Microsoft article that provides steps to disable BitLocker in Windows.
You may also attempt these steps on your laptop:
- Type Bitlocker in the Windows search.
- In the search results, click on "manage BitLocker". The below Windows appears whith the options to disable the BitLocker.
I sincerely hope this information helps. Let me know. Cheers! 🙂
