broken camera screen

I have a HP photosmart R847 camera.  The screen is broken.  Where can I get the screen replaced?

HP does not support this camera anymore.  Warranty has expired.  Must be some way to replace LCD screen.  Who made this camera for HP.  It is a 3" screen.

Hi,

That model is about 10 years old, and as the lifecycle for electronic products is quite short nowadays I doubt there are new spares still available for it.

I would think the best option is to find another R847 to salvage a screen from (e.g. on an auction site when it is marked "spares or repair", but with an intact screen! )
