Is this slow performance related or limited to the internet alone?

If it isn't related to the internet alone, follow the below steps:
- Regularly maintain your computer using tools and updates
- Check for corrupted Windows system files
- Manage applications and system features to increase performance
- Change how your computer uses memory
- Reduce heat inside the computer to prevent overheating

No actually you don’t need any task killer, with the help some simple tricks you can boost your PC performance-
- Turn off Unnecessary Start up Items
- Get rid of Unwanted Third party services
- Turn off Animations
- Adjust Power Plans
- Defragment Hard Disk
- Always Maintain your PC/Laptop updated and Use Default Protection
- Clean Recycle Bin
- Always clean Temp and Recent Files
- Make sure that Your Computer/Laptop is Infected with Malware or not
- Turn off Low Disk Checking to Speed up Your PC
