I have an Elite Pad with Windows 10 Pro on it. Remote desktop has not been working. I reimagied the machine to factory defaults.
I joined the network domain.
I connect to the MiFi Device from verizon to get internet access.
I successfully connect the Cisco AnyConnect VPN.
I then try to use remote desktop to connect to the server like we do on our other tablets.
I get to the point that it asks for the password for connecting to the server (Windows Security Window)
I type the password and hit enter
This one Elite pad says not responding.
even if I leave it for an hour it is still not responding.
I also Tried
connect direcly to the network with an etherent cable
use remote destop to connect to the server
Windows Security box pops up
type in the password
hit enter
Wait
(Not Responding)
in both instances I am logged on to a domain user that can connect remotely to the server on any other device.
I tried to uninstall the HP Security application. I logged on as the local admin, it still said I did not have permission to uninstall it. I have a domain policy that turns off the firewall for domain users. So I know the windows firewall is not in the way it is turned off.
