What do I do if my tablet is locked. Can’t turn off. I deleted all data so I could reset it. I’m trying to get a new password since I don’t have the original password. My screen is locked on a arrow screen.

Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the case regarding assistance with not being able to work on your tablet as it is locked. I will be delighted to assist you here.

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:
- Is it a Windows or Android tablet?
- Please provide the complete model# and product# of the tablet with the version of the operating system installed.
- Did you hold down the power button till the tablet turns off?
- Please share an image or screenshot of the screen that you see for us to help you accurately.
Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient. Going by your technical expertise and competence I am sure you will be able to perform these steps without breaking a sweat.

I don’t know the model#, it was my Dads & I just started to fool around w it. I tried all the suggestions but now all it shows us the setup options & it’s stuck on that screen. Can’t even start over. Embarrassing to say but I am NOT computer savvy what so ever.
