I did follow these instructions but was only able to download pictures. I want to know how to download files and contacts..

Hello,

I am not sure whether you can transfer the contact list via HP Orbit. These are the general file types supported:

• Text documents such as Word files

• Spreadsheets such as Excel files

• Graphics such as JPG files

• Online video links

• News sites and other URLs

• Music such as MP3 files

• Text messages and notes

Also, the file size should be less than 30MB.

The easy way as I know to transfer contacts from android to computer is using Android Assistant tool. It helps us access contacts on Android and export them to computer directly via usb cable.
