My hp slate 21-k100 has gotten extremely slow. When I open apps or even settings, it takes up to a minute to open - often I'll get the message "not responding" asking if I want to wait or end the app. It was never fast when new, but it's gotten to the point where it's unusable. Normally I'd think this would be a hard drive problem but it doesn't have a HD, right? It's eMMC?

Is there anything I can do?

Thanks!

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I have an older HP TouchPad that I installed Android onto it.  When it displays the behavior you describe, it means it's time to go to Settings/Storage/Cached Data.  Tap this button, and it will clear out a lot of "cobwebs"

Be sure you close out any apps that might be open in the background, and if you feel the "Big Hammer" approach may be needed, then a Factory Reset may be in your future...
