iPad mini, HP Smart app
iOS

Even though, the HP Smart App version is current, the mini iPad loads the program, then crashes; but yet it's still seen in the background. The mini iPad is a 1st gen A1432 model 16 GB, with only 2.3 GB available. My Father has multiple PDF docs on the iPad but because of the crashing is not able to open any of them!

Is there a solution?

And why can't we see all scanned documents, on all devices?

Thanks

@AceFlyte, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Let us try to remove and reinstall the application. Here is how you do it-

  1. Touch and hold the app.
  2. Tap Delete App.
  3. Tap Delete.

Now, check for any iOS updates.

Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Try adding the HP Smart App back and try printing.

Or, you can also try the AirPrint option to print from. Refer to the document HP Printers - Printing with Apple AirPrint (iOS) for instructions.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
