Resolve Windows 10 related issues for your HP computers or printers by HP Windows 10 Support Center
some1 set up a WDAGutilityaccount that took over my computer ownership, loged in with mcrosoft acct can password be deleted. can i even get around the bios password?
@ret045 Are you referring to the local Microsoft account or is it the online account? also, what do you mean by BIOS password? as that wouldn't appear unless you've set up one!
While you respond to that, here's what you need to know:
As per the Microsoft support team: The specified account is part of the Windows Defender Application Guard which came with the Fall Creators Update (version 1709).
This account is left disabled unless it (Windows Defender Application Guard) is enabled on your device.
WDAGUtilityAccount has been previously added to Insider Preview Builds, although it is often disabled.
This is commonly active on the Enterprise edition of Windows 10.
This item is integrated into the OS and is not considered as a threat/virus/malware.
However, if you wish to remove it, try logging into your administrator account and go to user accounts to remove or check the windows defender to disable it,
If nothing works, you may want to create a backup of your data and perform a system reset using the steps mentioned here.
Let me know how that pans out,
