Pavilion x2 10-j005tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi,

I have the misforune of having one of these hunks of junk.  It's never worked worth a damm from day one and don't get me started on the power switch problem.

Before I throw it out, yesterday I tried to do the factory restore ..... it started up fine and was abotu 64% the way through.

While I was away from the screen it either finished or errored out (dunno which?) .....

It asked me what I want to do and I picked go to Windows 10.

Now it turns on shows the HP logo, and the screen is on but blank, big surprise there - not.

Is there anything else I can try to do or should I have just tossed it to begin with like I planned?
