ENVY
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computers screen lock tab in the right side notifications/actions area is greyed out, however the screen still rotates freely and in tent mode the switch is able to be toggled. however in desktop mode it is not possible to toggle this switch. I uninstalled the driver and restarted my computer, however it has not solved the problem. I would appreciate full functionality from my device. It worked normally before today and i restored to 4 days back and it didn't fix the problem. Is there anything I am missing?

@RileyEN

Welcome to HP support community.

Turn Rotation Lock Off

  1. If you are using the system in laptop mode, convert your PC from Laptop mode to Tablet mode.
  2. Next, open Action Center in the Taskbar and toggle the Rotation lock to Off position.

I hope that helps.
