Hi @gerald87506,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with the connection between your iPhone and the printer. Here are a few steps you can try to fix the issue:

Ensure Wi-Fi Connection: Double-check that both your iPhone and the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, a mismatch in network connections can cause printing issues.

Restart Devices:

  • Turn off the printer, wait for about 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
  • Restart your iPhone to clear any temporary glitches.

Update Software:

  • Make sure that your iPhone's iOS is up to date.
  • Ensure the HP printer's firmware is up to date. You can check this through the HP Smart app on your iPhone or through the printer’s control panel.

Check Printer Status: If the printer is busy with another task or in an error state, it might show as unavailable. Verify that there are no active jobs or errors by checking the printer's display.

Reset Network Settings: On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset Wi-Fi connections and could help resolve connection issues.

Re-add Printer in AirPrint:

  • Open the HP Smart app (if installed) on your iPhone and make sure the printer is connected.
  • Alternatively, if you're printing from apps that use AirPrint, try deleting the printer from the AirPrint menu and re-adding it.

Check for Printer Queue Issues: Make sure that the printer’s queue isn't full or stuck with old jobs. You can manage this on your computer and clear any pending print jobs.

Reinstall HP Smart App: If you're using the HP Smart app to print, try uninstalling and reinstalling it to refresh the connection.

Let me know how it goes after trying these steps!

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
