HP tower with windows xp home ediition.
Where in the bios/advance tab is or says where cache and shadowing is at? Does not say chache or shadowing, can it be called somethi g else?

You've posted this question in the forum for HP Windows Tablets. It seems you have a Tower computer though so you might find you get more responses that are helpful if you post in the forum for the type (and model) of computer you have there. It'll also be helpful if you mention the exact model of Tower computer that you have.

 

Cache and Shadowing are features associated with Graphics functionality. While the Caches amount is sometimes configurable from within BIOS, it does depend entirely on what PC it is and therefore what Graphics GPU or Graphics card is used in the PC. I've personally never seen shadowing as being configurable in the BIOS at all, although I have seen certain (more modern) Graphics cards offer selections for configuring this from within their 'drivers'.

 

It sounds like you might want to get a modern game working within an older computer - again if you post the specifics of what you want to achieve ie why you're asking about this, people will be better able to assist you.

p.s. maybe a community moderator or administrator can move this thread from the Tablet forum to somewhere more appropriate such as Desktops > Video/Touch
