Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

windows 10 update is unable to install because there is not enough free space left on the hard disc. i performed disc cleaning, defragmentation and deleted all apps that are not important, still there is not enough fred space.

how can i add more disc capacity to my hp note 8

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are getting low disc space issue on your HP Notebook. I would like to help you resolve this issue. 

 

Run the Disk Cleanup tool, and then at the bottom of the window that pops up, click on "Clean up system files". Check everything, hit OK, and let it run. You will free up several GB for sure.

* Another thing to do is disable hibernate file. Run CMD as Administrator, and type the following:

* powercfg hibernate off

* Enjoy your extra space!

As an alternate you can use external hard driver or USB flash drive.
