Laptop stopped receiving wifi signals and showed "No valid ip configuration" message on troubleshooting.
Command Prompt shows "media disconnected" so would not allow "release/renew"
Laptop connected to router with ethernet cable but still would not connect to internet.
Router is ZXDSL931 by ZTE

Hi, apologies for the delay in reply. The same thing happened with my laptop. One day it was OK and the next day not.
I think it may have been related to a security scan or an update which sensed that the laptop had moved to a new location and web address. I had a similar problem a year or so ago on a PC, but that was caused by an early update to Windows 10.
My technical knowledge is not good enough to help you with a reason for the error. Perhaps Krazy Toad, who helped me, can help you.
Good Luck
