Product: HP Slate 7 6102ra VoiceTab

I have an issue with my old hp slate 7 tab. Earlier it switches off automatically even if it has 90% battery. So I reset the tablet but now the battery percentage has been stuck at 1%. It is not increasing. What could be the reasons for the problem and the possible solutions ?
