Is it possible for me to update my HP Slatebook to Android 4.4 or newer?

I recently received this HP SlateBook and when I tried to download Google Docs and Presentations, it said that my device is no longer compatible with the apps since it requires Android 4.4 or later, therefore I tried to update my SlateBook but it said that there were no updates available. Therefore I wonder if there is a way for me to update my SlateBook to a later version?

Does this mean that I will not be able to update my SlateBook to a newer version? Or is it possible that HP might release a new update for this particular model? And if so, how big are the chances of this happening, considering the age of this model?

Yes, you will not be able to upgrade the Android OS on this tablet. I am not sure whether an update will be released for this tablet and I do not have any information about the software updates.

I recommend you keep an eye on the HP website, if a newer version of the operating system is released it will be available on the website.

No chance of an update.  HP does not support their tablets with Android version updates.

Worthless answers here are a waste of time.  A simple "no" would better serve.
