my HP photosmart printer 5520 is offline.  how do i get it back online.  i have already reset my wireless routet, printer and pc.  this started occuring when i tried to print a priceline itinerary from my email.  thanks

I followed your suggestion, but it did not work. My PC  did not give me an opition.  So I called HP for help and a man in Canada knew what the problem was.  I have a new HP PC with Windows  8 and my printer was set up for my old HP PC for Windows 7,  he downloaded  the HP Officejet Pro 8600 for Windows 8 and the printer is now online, and all my problems have been solved with my printer and new HP PC.  Thank you for your suggestion, guess it was my fault I didn't go into detail about the new PC having Windows 8 on it.  Sorry!

I right click and there is no "use printer online" the original printer is J4680 . I lost the CD and downloaded webservice printer C6266. I right click on the icon and nothing; status is still offline.

the printer is used as wi-fi printer , windows 8.1, the icon is HPEC6266 subfolder HPJ4680.

😞 grrrr!!! now what???
