Woow,good to see some progress, keep diging,my wife and me use HP Elite X3.I'm pretty sure that Samsung S7 Edge has the same chip and that with android HP EX3 we can use 4Gb of ram with lastest android 10.Probably battery life will be better than with W10.Regards

Looks like it has a qualcomm snapdragon 820 which, in theory anyway, should be supported by Rene's tool. However the drivers under recovery remain elusive or I'm doing the recovery incorrectly. Time will tell though. I mean getting enough time to fiddle.
