Thank you again WyreNut.
Are you referring to the driver from the link "Acceca Raw Driver" at http://www.palmdr.com/important-links, or to the driver from the link "Direct Download" under the heading "64 Bit Drivers for Windows Vista, 7 and 8" on the same page, or to some other driver that may be sourced elsewhere? They are not currently available at http://forum.brighthand.com/threads/how-to-install-the-new-aceeca-64bit-drivers-on-a-tx.281989/.
May I take it that Palm Desktop v6.2.2 is the download from the link "Palm Desktop version 6.2" on http://www.palmdr.com/important-links, and that the PalmHotSyncSetup patch is palmhotsyncsetup.exe from the link "http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/palmhotsyncsetup.exe" on the page at http://www.palmdr.com/important-links?

Sounds like it's a yes to all questions!
Chris Short has been a long-standing supporter of PalmOS devices. I'd trust what he has on his website.

Thanks Wyrenut, but is the Aseeca driver you are referring to the driver from the link "Acceca Raw Driver" at http://www.palmdr.com/important-links, or the driver from the link "Direct Download" under the heading "64 Bit Drivers for Windows Vista, 7 and 8" on the same page, or to some other driver that may be sourced elsewhere? I have downloaded the "Acceca Raw Driver" at http://www.palmdr.com/important-links, and the driver from the link "Direct Download" under the heading "64 Bit Drivers for Windows Vista, 7 and 8" on the same page, and the downoaded files appear to be quite different.

I'm not completely familiar with the Aceeca Raw Driver.
I do know the file I linked to that has worked many times for me is a .zip file that contains the driver and instructional text files.
The "raw driver" may be just the driver file itself.
Sorry, I'm not at home at the moment. Can't compare the two files. If you have downloaded a .zip file, extract it and compare the contents.

Thanks again WyerNut.
Here are images of the contents of the 2 unzipped files, and a comparison. Can you tell which is the one I want? It can wait until you are back at base if that would be more convenient.

Ps for some reason the images may not be showing in the discussion board, but one folder named DVR_WINX64_USB_GN4-GN5_20110322 contains all that is in the other plus USBPort.dll and 64bit USB Driver Installation Guide 20110607.pdf.

I would suggest using the one with the .dll and the guide. That sounds very familiar.
Follow the directions in the guide, or my posts.

Thanks WyreNut. That looks like a solution to running Palm Desktop on Windows 10 64 bit and syncing with a Palm T3:
1. Palm Desktop v6.2 from http://palmdr.com//eBay%20Photos/PalmDesktopWin62.exe;
2. Palm Hotsyncsetup.exe from http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/palmhotsyncsetup.exe; and
3. 64 Bit drivers from http://palmdr.com//eBay%20Photos/DVR_WINX64_USB_GN4-GN5_20110322.zip .
Is Palm Desktop v6.2 the only choice here, or are there other versions that would do instead? And will v6.2 run on xp?
Is v6.2.2 the only version of v6.2 that is out there?
07-19-2016 02:25 PM
6.2.2 is the latest version that Aceeca produced for Palm.
Why would you want to run it on an XP machine? Just use an older 4.x version!
4.x can work on newer Windows OS's (7,8.1,10) but many things are broken. Quick Install does not work, Docs 2 Go won't sync, etc. It's up to you.
The files you have listed is the recommended setup.
