When I try to scan a document my scanner adds the new document to what ever documents i've scanned in the past. How do I get it to scan the new document with out adding it to the old. For instance, when scanning it will count that page as the next number, such as, page 53 instead of page 1

mybe you have to go on options on your scan program, or the other writing progams you use.

 

or just call HP on the phone.
