Poly Sync 40M+
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It seems Poly Sync 40M+ has an unknown problem with voice processing. Certain words or phrases are clipped while speaking to it, causing difficulties for audiences to catch what I said. Sync 20 has the same problem. It could either be a microphone quality issue or a voice processing algorithm issue (e.g. bad ANC). No matter which it is, it might be a product design fault. No improvement can be achieved by updating firmware. Poly VoxBox has been working very well but already end-of-life.

Hello, @ElfWOWNG, and welcome to the HP Poly community.

I am sorry to hear that you are facing issues with the Poly Sync 40 + Speakerphone.

Could you please follow a few troubleshooting steps mentioned below and let us know if the issue persists?

1. Could you please try the speakerphone with a different PC?
2. Could you please restore the speakerphone settings to default on the Poly Lens application by connecting the headset to the PC? Once done, please switch off and switch on the speakerphone again to save the changes made.
3. Could you please try connecting the BT700 to a different PC?
4. Could you please set the speakerphone as the default in the sound settings of the PC?
5. Could you please check for firmware updates and update them in the Poly Lens application?

I hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance. If you find the information provided useful or solves your problems, help other users find the solution more easily by giving Kudos/Thumbs Up and marking my post as an Accepted Solution.
