Sync 40+ M
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a Sync 40, and when its plugged in USB to my laptop, I continuously get the windows chirp for device connected or disconnected, in a cycle, every 7 to 9 seconds.  Non stop.  I've isolated it to the Sync40.  When I unplug it - the chime stops.  Plug it back in, and it immediately returns.

Laptop drivers and BIOS are current. Sync40 firmware is current.  I've tried multiple ports, multiple docks, consistent results.

The only escape I have from the chime is to disable to alert tone in Windows Sound settings, which should not be the case.
