Poly Sync 40
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi,

1. What is the difference Poly Sync 40 model 2020 vs 2024?

2. What is the difference between the Poly Sync 40 with MS Teams certified and the one without Teams certification? Is it just the Teams button to start Teams and see if it is connected?

Thanks in Advance

3. And what does it mean when it is Microsoft certified? Is that same as Teams certified?

Hi @Jabbaxx, Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.

Specification-wise, there is no difference; the only difference is the manufacturing date. We carry the standard Microsoft Teams certified edition. Teams Certified devices are plug-and-play with no extra configuration needed and provide call control with Microsoft Teams when Poly Lens/Plantronics Hub is installed. The dedicated Teams button allows you to activate the Teams client and open it with a simple tap.
