Blackwire 5220 USB -C
Microsoft Windows 11

I had my headsets in version 193 and they worked fine with perfect sound quality.

After upgrading to version  223 the audio quality of my mic is bad for the listeners on the other side.

I tested other headsets that remained in version 193 and they also work fine.

I want to revert the firmware back to 193 since there seems to be some sort of incompatibility between the 223 firmware and my system.

In the Poly Application there is an option to update manually "Custom Software Update" where I would need to point to a firmware file.

Where can I find the firmware version 193 to use it to revert my headset to this version?

Hi @PedroRAlmeida, Welcome to Poly HP Support Community.

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you’re facing with your headset. I understand how important it is for your headset to work properly, and I’m here to assist you.

Please follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Ensure that the headset is set as the default device on both your PC and softphone applications.
2. Reset the headset using the Poly Lens application.
3. Verify that your PC drivers are fully updated.

Unfortunately, Poly does not recommend rolling back the firmware of the headset.

If the issue persists after these steps, I recommend contacting our HP Support team. Our Support Engineers are available to assist you further. You can reach HP Support by clicking on the following link
