Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there.

I have a Poly Blackwire 8225 -M that i am using with Microsoft Teams on a Windows 10 laptop.

The mic on it seems overly sensitive as in it picks up the person that sits beside me's voice.

Same for others sitting in our area of the office, we all have the same headset .

We've tried adjusting the settings in Teams (turning on automatically adjust mic sensitivity , changing noise suppression and turning on spatial audio) and the issues remain, likewise i've downloaded the Plantronics Hub and can't see anything to adjust there that may help.

Any ideas or suggestions ?

Thanks

Hello MarkCav, welcome to the HP Poly community.
Could you please try enabling the ANC feature on the headset and check if that is helping in reducing the background noise?
Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) reduces external noise and enhances your music and sound quality.
Slide the ANC switch to choose:
• Mid: recommended for office
• High: recommended for loud environments

Please check the user guide provided below for further reference.
