Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, my headset has a delay after a pause, it's annoying, I can't hear the first word. It seems to be something to do with power saving but I cannot see any option to disable it.

I am using the headset with a BT700 dongle version 0.0.1122.4724.

Kind regards,

Mariano.

Hi @VillaFortin, Welcome to the Poly HP Support Community.

I understand that you're looking to adjust the delay after the pause. Unfortunately, there isn't a specific setting available within the Poly Lens application to adjust this delay. However, the issue could be related to the power settings on your PC, particularly the power-saving settings for the device or USB ports. These settings can sometimes affect whether the USB port remains active, which may cause delays or interruptions in performance. I recommend reviewing your system’s power-saving settings and ensuring that the headset’s firmware is up to date using the Poly Lens application, as this can also help resolve such issues.

This issue is likely due to the headset's power-saving feature, which delays audio after inactivity. Unfortunately, there's currently no user option to disable this behavior. You can try updating both the headset and BT700 firmware via the Poly Lens app, as future updates may improve this.

It was not useful. Thanks anyway.

I tried with many different options but nothing worked.

Unfortunately I bought a non-economic headset that is not useful...

Thanks anyway-

Thank you for your response, @VillaFortin.

Sorry to hear that the issue still persists. Could you kindly try connecting it to a different PC or mobile device? This will help us isolate the issue more effectively.
