Are you facing a No Audio or Low Volume issue on your Poly Blackwire Headsets? If yesClick here to view the solution!

In Windows 10, this headset had Enhancement options. My team would typically turn these off because they caused audio quality/feature issues we did not like.

In Windows 11, we are not seeing this tab, and the research I've done so far reports:

A) Windows isn’t applying any of the built-in DSP enhancements like Bass Boost, Loudness Equalization, or Virtual Surround for this device."

B) Windows 11: Microsoft started hiding/removing the Enhancements UI unless the driver explicitly supports the new audio processing model.

I have run PolyLens desktop and updated the firmware -- they don't show up.
I'm not overly concerned about them showing up -- as long as nothing is being applied.
But -- we had a user reach out with the same types of issues for which we would TURN OFF enhancements to fix, but we no longer have it. I looked up Registry values for 'RENDER' and there appears to be nothing being set for the Poly headset in Windows 11.

Any insights on this?

Took all those steps. Same result of no enhancements tab available.

Talked with some colleagues and the investigation showed us SOME our same 5220 headsets do show enhancements and others didn't -- same build of Windows 11.
