I have a PLANTRONICS VOYAGER FOCUS UC BTHEADSET B825WW connected to my HP EliteBook laptop to be use when answer calls at the helpdesk however when a call comes in I press the button on the headset, but it doesn't answer the call.  This is a wireless headset that was purchase but it is not doing its job.  The firmware is updated, I have reset the headset back to its defaults, as well as call the support but still the headset is not answering the call when I press the button.  

 

when I first hookup the headset it worked, Now it does not please advice on how to get the headset to answer the calls.  This is really slowing my production down..

I am sorry to hear that you are facing this issue with the Poly Voyager Focus UC. 


Could you please follow a few troubleshooting steps mentioned below and let us know if the issue persists?


1. Make/Take/End Calls

 

Answer or end a call:

Tap the call button. 

 

Call back last call (smartphone):

To dial the last number you dialed, double tap the Call button. 

 

Voice assistant:

Siri, Google Assistant, and Cortana Press and hold the Call button for 2 seconds to activate your phone's default voice assistant. Wait for the phone prompt to activate voice dialing, search, and other smartphone voice controls

 

2. Could you please confirm if the provided BT700 USB adapter is plugged into the PC and the headset is paired?
