Product: HP EliteDesk 800 G2 mini
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My 800 G2 mini came with this wifi card: Broadcom BCM943228Z (802.11n) so I am trying to upgrade it. I have a Broadcom BCM94360NG and a Dell DW1802. Both these cards are 802.11ac / BT4.0 but I only get 802.11n connection and terrible speed (not usable to work with) and BT is unreliable. I was told when I asked the seller that the BCM94360NG is "not compatible" with HP machines. Is this true and why? When I have one of these cards installed in the 800 G2 mini I also often get windows bluescreen. Never happens when I have the original card or Intel card like below installed. Note that these 2 cards work fine in my other mini PC, Lenovo m910q. Great speeds and stable BT.

 

I borrowed a Intel 9260 (ac and BT5.1) card from a friend and it worked fine. Speed is great and BT stable. I would like to use the  BCM94360NG since I have several OS on the machine and it should be compatible. I am using the same card on my Lenovo running Windows, Linux and MacOSX and all run great.  Is there anything I can do about this or do I have to buy and Intel card?
