HP Prodesk 400 G4 Desktop Mini
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to update the BIOS on our estate of HP Prodesk 400 desktop mini devices. I can successfully update the G2 and G3 models with no problem.

However on the G4 models when trying to install v2.02.04 which is the latest release, the device restarts after saying it has successfully preloaded the new firmware but then it goes into a failed hardware state with the power button flashing red 3 times followed by 4 white flashes along with associated beeps. I've checked on the Beep Codes and it's pointing to a failed power supply.

However, It's the same error on every single G4 I've tried which is around 20-30 so far. The solution is to physically pull the power lead out of the device wait a few seconds and put it back in, The device then starts up as normal with the new BIOS Firmware successfully installed.

We want to roll this out with ConfigMgr so we can't expect our users to be pulling out power leads.

Anybody know what the issue might be?
