Product: L2045w
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

My setup is a laptop plus 2 external monitors, both HP L2045W.  A few months ago, one of my monitors suddenly had a white block of blank space in the (solid color) screen saver, portrait shaped.  Today as I was investigating System Preferences/Display, another block was added landscape-shape over the first.  It doesn't matter if I change to a photo, the "cutout" is still there.
