EliteDisplay E231
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently got my Monitor through my mother who has had it for two years, and have decided to connect it up to both my laptop (Envy Notebook 13) and xbox one, both operating on Windows 10. I bought a passive HDMI to DisplayPort adapter as the monitor doesn't have a HDMI port to plug it into. While the Xbox and the laptop works into multiple other devices, it does not connect to the monitor. I have tried to lower the resolution on both so that they fit with the 1920p at 60Hz but it didn't work. I believe it may be the cable and that I need a active adaptor, but I am not entirely sure. Any help on how to get them to connect to the monitor would be greatly appriciated 🙂
