HP Recommended

Since there is no published cross reference, I assembled this reference from eBay photos.

The KBRF3871 wireless keyboard (FCC ID EMKKKKBRF3871) is made by Primax Electronics, Inc.

The KBRF3871 uses the transceiver /receiver / dongle RG-0983 FCC ID E8HRG-0983) made by Chicony Electronics.

The KG-1061 (FCC ID E8HKG-1061) keyboard uses the same receiver as the KBRF3871. These seem like the same keyboard made by two different OEMs.

These keyboards are NOT Link-5 compatible.

Based on eBay bundles and photos, the RG-0983 receiver will also work with the following mice and mouse/keyboard bundles. A single receiver supports both a keyboard and mouse at the same time, so you should be able to use the receiver bundled with a mouse:

  • MG-0982 FCCID E8HMG-0982 shipped as 603289-001
  • MORFDIUOA  FCCID EMJMMORFDIUOA shipped as  687236-001
  • MG-0983 also known as MORFDIUOA shipped as 603289-001
  • 667111-001 (Bundle of MG-0982 and RG-0983)
  • 643692-161 (Bundle of KG-1061 (633689-151) + MG-0982 + RG-0983)
