Hi all,

Hope you can help. We have recently purchased x4 T530 with HP Thin Client OS installed and are experimenting with the options within the HP Thin Client OS itself on one unit so far. We have attached it to the domain using the default options and have allowed domain users to authenticate as well as domain admins. We are currently using a Windows Server 2008 Terminal Server setup where users on Thin Clients point to a number of Windows Server 2008 Terminal Servers, one per unit and use RDP where each user is prompted by a login prompt that is prefilled and has to click Login in order to get to the Windows login screen in order for them to enter their login details, in effect bypassing the HP Thin Client OS itself. We have a mixture of T420s as well as T5540s that use this setup but would like to know whether it is possible to lockdown the GUI so that domain users can only see the RDP icon on the Desktop as well as the power and Switch To Administrator options under the Start menu. With regards to the RDP program, we was wondering the users login details including the terminal server can be prefilled when double clicking on the RDP icon. Your help would be much appreciated.

Kind regards,
