Product: HO Elitedisplay E233
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

Hi, I would like to use my HP EliteDisplay E233 as a secondary display for my macbook air (13 inch, early 2015, 1.6GHZ Intel Core i5) and am not sure how to do so.  I tried connecting directly to an HDMI port and the display does not recognize it that way.  Any help in getting this done will be greatly appreciated.  I assume I will need some sort of an adapter and this it fine, I just need to know what to do.  Thank you in advance.
