Prodesk 400 G2.5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I note this has been an issue for a few people, where upon an OS re-install, the firmware shows with a yellow exclamation mark in Device Manager.  Any attempts to update using windows etc fail.

When looking at the Windows Update history, the HP Inc. Firmware 15.29.0.0 has a failed install.

I just googled HP Inc Firmware 15.29.0.0 and found this microsoft download site https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=HP%20Inc.%20Firmware%2015.29.0.0

I downloaded the most recent.

You have to then extract the files from the .cab

I did this by double-clicking the .cab then right clicking on each file and selecting 'extract'

I then went into device manager,

Right Click on the 'system firmware' component and select 'Update Driver'

I then selected 'Browse my Computer'

choose where you have extracted the files

and then select 'Let me pick from a list of available drivers'

I choose the first one, which worked, but see what works for you,

This installed the firmware and all is well
