HP Z220 CMT
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have recently bought a gtx 980 and a thermal take Smart SE2 600w to go with it (using adapter for mobo power), after installing both i couldn't get the gpu to show up, the gpu wouldn't work in legacy mode and it would give a gpu error post code in uefi mode, running it in the lower slot it does work but it just the card is tested on a different system and is not faulty but i simply can't get it to work on mine. I have heard of people installing 1080-s in this pc so it can't just simply be incompatible. I have updated my bios to a version i found on the hp website that says copyrigh up to 2017 but still no luck. Also it does work with my old gtx 1050ti just fine.
