HP 23es 23-inch Monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm having an issue with my HP 23es monitor, which started yesterday afternoon.

Without any buttons on the monitor being pressed, the 'Information' menu for the monitor popped up. This is the menu that would normally display after pressing the second button from the left on the monitor (#2), which displays the Current Mode, Optimal Mode, Color Setting, Backlight Hours, etc.

The options for removing this message are a checkmark and an 'x', available by pressing monitor buttons #1 and #4. Pressing either dismisses the message for a second or two, before the Information menu pops up again.

If I quickly press button #1 to confirm the popup and then quickly press it a second time, to get into the Main Menu popup, the selection cycles downwards as if button #2 is being held down (which it is not).

Edit: Calling service yielded the answer that this issue lies in my computer, and not the monitor itself. However, I am using two monitors, and only one is having the issue. Also, I am using two different computers with this monitor and the issue is with both.

Edit 2: With careful timing (and lots of frustration), I navigated through the menus and disabled button #2 (set the function to be 'Empty'). Therefore, the menu doesn't popup, just the small white bar that details what the buttons do. This is not an ideal solution, but at least I don't have a large popup blocking a good portion of the screen.
